This notice explains which cookies and browser-stored data esimpont.hu uses, and what they are for.
A cookie is a small data file that a website places in your browser. Local storage (localStorage) serves a similar purpose: your browser keeps settings there that only this website can read. Neither runs any program, and on their own they cannot identify you.
Storage that is necessary for the site to work is used from your first visit — without it you could not stay signed in, and your language or currency choice would not persist. In addition we use analytics and marketing measurement, but only if you have expressly agreed on the cookie bar. Until you decide, not a single measurement tag is loaded, and Google Consent Mode also defaults to “denied”.

Legal basis: the “strictly necessary” exemption under the ePrivacy rules, and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract). We do not ask for consent for this group, because the service does not work without it.
If you choose “Accept all” on the cookie bar, the third-party measurement tags below are loaded. If you choose “Essential only”, none of them are.

Legal basis: consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. These providers also act as independent controllers under their own privacy notices. In the case of Reddit, data is transferred to a third country (USA); for this we rely on the safeguards in Chapter V GDPR (EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
The site also uses its own cookie-free measurement (logging the page visited and the referring source). It stores nothing in your browser and cannot identify you personally.
You can change your decision at any time, as easily as you gave it: run epConsent.open() in your browser console, or simply clear the site's local storage (see below). Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.
You can delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time (usually: Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data). Afterwards your settings (language, theme) reset, you have to sign in again, and the cookie bar reappears.
If we introduce a new measurement tag or purpose, we will update this policy and the cookie bar — and ask again where a new consent purpose is involved.
